Before the Bell Campaign

Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) is a research-based, not-for-profit organization that supports students and educators worldwide by creating assessment solutions that measure growth and proficiency—and provide insights to help tailor instruction. The Mekanic team delved into communication efforts, website content, and teacher engagement to understand the status and performance of NWEA’s brand. After the COVID-19 pandemic, we opened our doors for the first time in over two years for NWEA’s in-person workshops. NWEA’s team traveled across the country to join us for our brainstorming and co-creation workshops. In collaboration with NWEA, Mekanic co-created innovative engagement strategy solutions in alignment with NWEA’s student-centric mission to provide actionable, approachable, human-first content.

Mekanic provided continuous listening and community engagement support for campaign social channels to track engagement, connect with followers, inspire future content creation, and cultivate teacher influencer relationships. At NWEA’s Fusion conference, we helped NWEA make a colorful splash with a “Before the Bell” campaign. Our team created custom videos to help promote the great work of NWEA to help teachers educate and prepare students for the future. We designed videos to give educators short bursts of helpful content while maximizing visual affinity and impact. Our design and video editing teams meticulously crafted the campaign videos’ vivid look and feel, and we were pleased to see them out in the world.
