Overview
For decades, the Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) has served as one of the nation’s most trusted sources of insurance information, equipping journalists, consumers, policymakers, researchers, and industry professionals with timely data, expert analysis, and educational resources. But as its content ecosystem expanded, the technology behind it began creating friction instead of enabling it.
Managing one of the insurance industry’s largest libraries of digital content required an increasingly outdated Drupal platform that depended on technical support for routine updates, slowing editorial workflows and limiting the organization’s ability to respond quickly to a constantly evolving industry.
Triple-I needed more than a new website. They needed a platform that would return control to their experts while creating a digital foundation built to support the organization’s future.
The Opportunity
Triple-I’s existing platform had become a barrier to the speed and flexibility its team required. Routine content updates often relied on developers, making even simple publishing tasks more time-consuming than they should have been. As the organization’s library continued to grow, maintaining the platform demanded increasing technical resources, while the site’s architecture made it difficult to evolve alongside changing content needs and audience expectations.
The opportunity wasn’t simply to modernize the technology. It was to transform the way Triple-I manages, organizes, and delivers trusted information, giving its editorial team the independence to publish with confidence while establishing a platform designed to scale for years to come.
